Prescription medicines can only be prescribed where clinically appropriate and in accordance with ORA Clinic’s prescribing protocols.

Clients who require ongoing prescriptions must attend a review consultation at least once every 12 months. Prescriptions cannot be renewed beyond 12 months from the client’s last appropriate clinical review without a further consultation.

A review consultation is €75.

All prescriptions, including repeat prescriptions, are subject to a €15 prescription administration fee. This fee is additional to any consultation fee that may apply.

Where a client requires a prescription but is outside the 12 month review period, a review consultation must be completed before a further prescription can be issued.

Prescription requests remain subject to clinical assessment and approval. ORA Clinic reserves the right not to issue or renew a prescription where the prescribing clinician considers that a review, further assessment or alternative management is required.
