Bio-Balance combines gentle exfoliation with advanced energy based and bio stimulatory technologies to calm inflammation and restore skin function at multiple levels.
Each treatment begins with a carefully selected enzyme or azelaic based exfoliation to refine the skin surface while supporting barrier integrity.
Thermal Stimulation
Reduce Pore Visibility & Redness
Laser-based dermal heating further enhances the protocol by stimulating controlled collagen remodelling and improving skin texture without disrupting the skin barrier. This low-impact thermal stimulation has been shown to downregulate inflammatory mediators, support wound repair and refine pore appearance, making it particularly suitable for congested yet sensitive or reactive skin types.
Dynamic Ultrasound & Cold Laser
Reduce Inflammation & Energise for Repair
Dynamic ultrasound technology is used to support lymphatic drainage, down regulate inflammatory pathways and improve skin tolerance.
The treatment is completed with bio energetic light therapy and a barrier supportive ectoin based gel to enhance cellular energy, accelerate recovery and reinforce the skin barrier.

Bio-Balance is suitable for patients with rosacea prone skin, impaired skin barriers, chronic redness, inflammation or sensitivity, as well as those recovering from skin flare ups or aesthetic treatments. It is also an excellent option for patients seeking skin health support without downtime.
Treatments can be performed as a course or used as a standalone session during periods of flare or heightened sensitivity.
In the stabilisation phase, Bio Balance may be performed up to once weekly to calm inflammation and support barrier repair. As the skin settles, treatments typically transition to monthly sessions during early maintenance, and then to bi monthly treatments every 6 to 8 weeks for longer term skin support.
With no downtime and a skin respectful approach, Bio Balance offers a restorative solution for compromised skin, supporting long term calm, strength and skin health.

- No active skincare (exfoliation, retinoids) for 1 week pre treatment.
- No other skin treatments for 2 weeks pre treatment unless otherwise advised by ORA.
- Clients need to be fit & well
- Clients cannot be light sensitive or taking any light sensitive medications
- Clients cannot be pregnant or breast feeding
- Clients cannot have a history of keloid scars
- Clients prone to cold sores should let us know in advance of treatment (at least 3 days pre treatment)
- Clients cannot have intense UV exposure for 2 weeks pre or post treatment
- Clients cannot use retinoids/vitamin A or exfoliating acids for 1 week pre treatment.
- Clients cannot have any other skin treatments for 2 weeks before/after treatment
- Downtime is minimal.
- Mild peeling is normal, don’t pick it.
