Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
Glowing, Hydrated, Healthy Skin—Naturally.
Platelet rich plasma (PRP) harnesses the power of your own plasma and growth factors to deliver hydration and restore strength to the skin. PRP is a long established treatment modality used for its healing powers and as a natural regenerative cosmetic procedure it has gained immense popularity due to its safety and efficacy.
At ORA we often enhance this treatment by combining it with microneedling (SkinPen or SecretRF) to allow uniform penetration of the PRP and greater stimulation of collagen.
We also offer the unique option of blending PRP with additional hydrating hyaluronic acid to achieve an immediate boost of moisture and enhanced radiance. This Cellular Matrix blend is particularly useful for softening fine lines in the neck and smile (nasolabial lines).
Understanding PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)
PRP treatment begins by drawing a sample of your own blood, similar to a routine blood test. This sample is then placed in a centrifuge, which separates it into its distinct components. We extract the platelet-rich portion for use in treatment. This concentrate is re-injected or microneedled into the skin to stimulate biostimulation.
The skin's response to the injected PRP is the activation of dermal fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin. Additionally, it aids in repairing and enhancing the function of other cell types, such as melanocytes, often improving areas of persistent hyperpigmentation. Utilizing the body's own regenerative growth factors, this method avoids the use of artificial chemicals or toxins.
PRP can be performed as a standalone treatment or in combination with other biostimulation therapies, such as microneedling and SecretRF. It can also be enhanced with RegenLab Cellular Matrix, which combines PRP with hyaluronic acid to provide an extra boost of hydration and amplify regenerative results

Harness Your Skin’s Own Capacity for Cellular Renewal
Collagen is a vital protein that provides structure and support to the skin, hair, and connective tissues throughout the body. However, as we age, collagen production gradually declines, leading to visible signs of ageing such as wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin. This reduction in collagen synthesis begins as early as our mid-to-late twenties, with an approximate annual decrease of 1% thereafter. The process accelerates significantly post-menopause due to hormonal changes, notably the decline in oestrogen levels, further contributing to collagen depletion.
In addition to natural ageing, environmental factors such as sun exposure, pollution, and lifestyle choices like smoking can further accelerate collagen loss, resulting in diminished skin quality and hair density. This accelerated depletion can lead to increased skin dryness, pronounced wrinkles, loss of fullness, sagging, and reduced elasticity.
Incorporating PRP therapy into your skincare regimen offers a natural approach to combating the effects of ageing by harnessing your body's own regenerative capabilities to promote healthier, more youthful-looking skin. Whether as a standalone procedure or in combination with advanced treatments like RegenLab Cellular Matrix, PRP offers a personalised approach to achieving your skincare goals.

Benefits of PRP
Natural Collagen Boost
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) using the advanced RegenLab system is a powerful regenerative treatment designed to improve skin tone, texture, and elasticity — naturally. By using your own blood to create a concentrated serum rich in growth factors, PRP stimulates the body’s natural collagen and elastin production. Clinical research, including findings published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology (2019), has shown that PRP can significantly increase dermal collagen, leading to firmer and more youthful-looking skin over time. This makes it a highly effective, non-synthetic solution for fine lines, early skin laxity, and loss of volume.
improve skin texture and radiance
PRP improves skin texture and radiance by accelerating cell turnover and promoting tissue repair. This helps to soften rough skin, reduce pigmentation, and create a brighter, more even complexion. As RegenLab PRP is 100% autologous — meaning it comes entirely from your own blood — there is virtually no risk of allergic reaction or rejection. This makes it a safe and biocompatible option for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Clinical studies support PRP’s ability to reduce signs of ageing and boost overall skin health through natural biological processes.
Minimal Downtime
PRP is a minimally invasive procedure with little to no downtime, making it ideal for busy lifestyles. Most patients experience only mild redness or swelling, which typically resolves within 24–48 hours. According to Aesthetic Surgery Journal (2020), PRP treatments using RegenLab systems are associated with excellent safety profiles and minimal recovery time. At ORA, our medical team PRP with precision and care, ensuring comfortable treatment sessions and optimal skin rejuvenation results — all without disrupting your daily routine.
