Your Treatment Journey
Healthy, Hydrated and Glowing Skin
All ORA clients are encouraged to take a holistic approach to skin health and as part of this, SecretRF is an effective way to boost skin health naturally. Harnessing your body’s own ability to repair, SecretRF achieves remarkable results from the first treatment with best results seen after the third treatment in a series.
Prior to treatment your skin will be numbed using a topical cream to ensure that your treatment is completely painless. We will then carry out a fully customised SecretRF treatment. At ORA, we are experts in layering treatments and many clients will pair SecretRF with one of our treatment boosters for enhanced collagen banking.
We recommend 3 treatments spaced at 4-6 week intervals followed by one maintenance session every year for optimal results.
More Information
The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes but we book you for an hour so that there is plenty time for the topical anaesthetic to work prior to treatment. Prior to the procedure, your skin will be cleansed and topical anaesthetic will be used to minimise discomfort during treatment. The Secret RF device is applied to the skin and glides across the treatment areas. The depth of treatment is adjustable, so it is safe to use on the entire face. Our treatment finishes with a complimentary LED boost to soothe skin and accelerate healing.
Secret RF is very well tolerated. Nonetheless not everyone will be a candidate. We cannot perform treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. We cannot perform treatment if you have active acne or any other skin infection including a coldsore. If you do not presently have a coldsore but get coldsores frequently, please contact the clinic at least 1 week before your scheduled treatment so that we can formulate a plan to minimise the risk of any complications for you. We cannot carry out Secret RF if you have skin cancer, bleeding disorders, poorly controlled diabetes, allergy to stainless steel, gold, other metals or topical anaesthetic, have had another aesthetic treatment within the last 2 weeks or if you are using any oral medications for your skin in the past 6 months. We cannot carry out Secret RF if you have vitiligo, a pacemaker, cardiac conditions, keloid scarring, any metal implants in the treatment area or any active skin condition in the treatment area including: sores, psoriasis or eczema.
It is important to inform us if you have had face lift or eyelid surgery in treatment area within the two years prior to treatment. Please also infomr us if you have had any deep chemical peels, dermabrasion or resurfacing in the previous six months.
We do not recommend having any other skin, beauty or aesthetic treatments in the two weeks before a seretRF (includes brow treatments, waxing, laser hair removal). Please ensure that you are feeling fit & well on the day of your treatment. Treatment cannot be performed if you are feeling unwell or have had a recent illness including flu.

During the procedure, you will feel a slight heating and some pressure on the treatment area. For most clients, the treatment is comfortable and your aesthetic doctor will monitor this throughout your session.
SecretRF is very well tolerated but do keep in mind that your skin will be red and will feel tight, a little like a sunburn. For most people the redness subsides significantly within 48 hours. You won’t be able to apply any products including makeup for up to 48 hours. You may notice some swelling especially around the eye area. This can last for up to a few days. Your skin will feel tender for a day or two. You may experience some flaking that commences on day 3 and can last for up to a week.
Many clients notice that their skin appears more radiant and tighter after the second treatment but best results are seen three months after completion of course of treatment. Remember, it takes your skin time to make all this new glorious collage
We usually recommend a course of 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results. The longevity of results varies based on individual lifestyle factors. We recommended additional treatments every 12-18 months to maintain results or as recommended in your ORA journey.

Expert Care by Our Medical Team
Prior to treatment, we will cleanse the skin to prepare it for treatment. Your skin will be numbed using a topical anesthetic cream which ensures a completely painless treatment. Your treatment will conclude with a calming, hydrating mask to replenish the skin and optimise your results.
Post treatment you can expect some mild puffyness and redness which subsides within 24-48 hours.
